What a cruise with cousins! Wonderful time indeed.
9 of us 14 were there.
- 1 was there in spirit. Represented magnificently well.
- 2 were ill. We pray they get better.
- 2 opted out for personal reasons. We pray we’ll stay connected.
We were 18 in all. Yes, to us spouses of cousins are cousins too 🙂

What joy! Sharing, laughing, drinking, and just ‘comiendo mierda’.
.
We were able to have 3 dinners together.
We had a precious, beautiful prayer service with all us present.
We played dominoes.
We went to shows together.
Some went to the beach, smoked cigars, even swam with pigs.
Others just sat back, relaxed, and enjoyed all the ship had to offer.
Oh, and so much more!
.
The pictures do not do justice to the fun that was had.
The stories will live forever.
The memories will be passed on to the next generation.
And we’ll always smile when we think about the experience 🙂

It is not lost on me that our lives have taken very different paths.
We’ve grown in many different directions. (And that’s ok.)
Tragedies have come the way to some more than others.
Some have moved away from the Country of Miami and South Florida, where most remain.
All continue planting seeds and growing new branches.

Our common heritage, faith, and roots will forever bind us together.
We will continue celebrating where our agendas and interests intersect.
We will continue respecting each other’s choices, priorities in life, and emphasis of actions.
.
And we will continue branching out ever so far to places and with people yet to be discovered.
And we all have one strong ask of God – and the Virgencita:
May the next generation cherish their past, live the present in service of others, and ‘¡que siga la trandición!’

Crucero de Primos 2026
¡Qué crucero con los primos! ¡Un tiempo verdaderamente maravilloso!
9 de los 14 estuvimos presentes.
- 1 estuvo en espíritu. Magníficamente representado.
- 2 estaban enfermos. Oramos por su sanación y recuperación.
- 2 no asistieron por razones personales. Oramos para mantenernos conectados.
Fuimos un total de 18. Entre nosotros, nuestras esposas y nuestros esposos son primos también 🙂

¡Cuánto gozo! Compartiendo, riendo, bebiendo y simplemente “comiendo mierda”.
.
Pudimos cenar todos juntos 3 veces.
Tuvimos un hermoso servicio de oración con todos los presentes. ¡Precioso!
Jugamos dominó.
Fuimos juntos a varios espectáculos.
Algunos fueron a la playa, fumaron tabacos e incluso nadaron con cerdos.
Otros simplemente se sentaron, se relajaron y disfrutaron de todo lo que el barco ofrecía.
¡Ah, y mucho más!

Las fotos realmente no captan ni le hacen justicia a la diversión que vivimos.
Las historias vivirán para siempre.
Los recuerdos se transmitirán a la próxima generación.
Y siempre sonreiremos cuando pensemos en esta experiencia. 😊

No se me escapa que nuestras vidas han tomado caminos muy distintos.
Hemos crecido en muchas direcciones diferentes (y eso está bien).
Algunos han enfrentado tragedias más que otros.
Algunos se han mudado lejos del “país de Miami” y el sur de la Florida, donde permanece la mayoría.
Todos seguimos sembrando semillas y haciendo crecer nuevas ramas.

Nuestra herencia común, la fe y nuestras raíces nos unirán para siempre.
Seguiremos celebrando cuando nuestras agendas e intereses coincidan.
Seguiremos respetando las decisiones de cada uno, sus prioridades en la vida y el énfasis de sus acciones.
.
Y seguiremos extendiéndonos cada vez más hacia lugares y personas aún por descubrir.
Y todos tenemos una fuerte petición a Dios —y a la Virgencita—:
Que la próxima generación atesore su pasado, viva el presente al servicio de los demás y… ¡que siga la tradición!
