- President Obama’s Speech to the Cuban People*
*These remarks where delivered when President Obama visited Cuba in March, 2016. His remarks represent a perfect way for me to close this chapter in my life – and begin a new one. The Cuba I never left – yet had not returned to for 49 years – is now again accessible. The government is still very much dysfunctional, corrupt, and communist; but the people are now accessible. A seismic shift for me personally as I discern what all this means.
